  ACKIE, Sydney - Passed away on Monday, June 20, 2005, at Hamilton General Hospital. Sydney Ackie, 46 years of age, beloved husband of Sandra, dear father of Delroy, Brian, Brittany and Shivonne. Dear son of Clara Thomas, loving brother of Joyce (Jones) Adams, Joycelyn (Bernard) Cox, Nelva Peters, Kathelyn Cataou, Cathelyn Simons, Lucita (Peter) Stafford, Teresa Cudjoe, Cecelyn (Henry) Stanisclause, Patrick (Patricia) Ackie, Gifton (Jone) Ackie, Randolph Cudjoe, Winston Ackie, and Patrick (Bev) Cudjoe. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews, and good friends Wilma and Sandra, and Dancer. Sydney was employed by Challenger Motor Freight in Hespeler. Sydney is resting at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery.
