  AITCHISON, John Thomas "Tom" 1931-2012 Tom was born to Emma (nee Urquhart) and Clifton Aitchison on February 3, 1931 in Lucknow, Ontario. Predeceased by his brother Roy, of Kincardine. Tom died in Cambridge on April 12, 2012, at the age of 81 years. Beloved soulmate of Patricia (nee Seymour) for 65 years. Tom and Pat were married in Hespeler on April 19, 1952. Cherished father of Laura and her husband David Hobler; Craig and his wife Maureen; Beth and her husband Dan Moyer. Adored grandfather of ten grandchildren and much loved Big Poppa to thirteen great-grandchildren. The family will gather privately to share memories of a husband, father, grandfather and Big Poppa, who will always mean so very much to us. We would like to thank the people at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, CCAC and Lisaard House who offered Tom such kind and compassionate care. The family would appreciate donations to Lisaard House, St. Luke's Place or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Hespeler) in lieu of flowers. Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Lounsbury Funeral Home.
