- MARTIN, Minerva (Mrs. Harvey B.) - Peacefully, on Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, at her home, Minerva (Metzger) Martin, in her 68th year, of RR 1, Elmira.
Beloved wife of Harvey B. Martin; loving mother of Ruth and Allan Misener of Nova Scotia, Murray and Joyce of Elmira, James and Susan of Floradale, Paul and Julie of Floradale. Fondly remembered by her six grand- sons, Jeremy Misener, Travis and Corey Martin, Matthew, Thomas and Luke Martin; dear daughter of Joseph Metzger of Elmira and the late Katie (Martin) Metzger; sister of Lorne and Florence Metzger of Elmira; Tilman and Karen Metzger of St. Clements, Elvina and Orton Gingrich of Elmira, Eileen and Phares Martin of Listowel. Predeceased by her mother. Katie; her step-mother, Amanda Bowman. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family committal service will be held in the Elmira Mennonite Cemetery on Thursday morning. A public memorial service for family and friends will be held on Thursday at the Elmira Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. with Pas tor Dale Bauman and Pastor Ruth Anne Laverty officiating.
In her memory, donations to Elmira Mennonite Church Capital Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be ap preciated as expressions of sympathy.
