  BOWMAN, Vera (Mrs. Clayton M.) - Peacefully, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Vera (Knarr) Bowman, in her 65th year, of Elmira.Beloved wife of Clayton M. Bowman of Elmira. Loved dearly by her children, Fern and John Bish of Elmira, Loretta and Philip Dammeier of Listowel, Kevin Bowman of Elmira and Cheryl and Brad Fisher of Elmira. Very proud and loving grandma of Rodney, Mike and Mark Dammeier, Andy and Amy Bowman and Alex Fisher. Sister of Allen and Irma Knarr of Telford, Pa., Irvin and Darlene Knarr of Brantford and Paul and Sandra Knarr of Kitchener.Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Susannah (Lichty) Knarr, one grandson, Ian Dammeier.The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Wednesday transfer will be made to Emmanuel Missionary Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. George Grierson officiating followed by interment in Elmira Mennonite Cemetery.In her memory donations to Christian Blind Mission Talking Book Library or Elmira Kiwanis Transit Specialized Bus Service would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
