  MARTIN, Amsey B. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Listowel Memorial Hospital, at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Mildred Martin for 14 years. Loving stepfather of Carolyn (Harvey) Shoemaker, Rose (Brian) Horst, Carol (Dale) Cressman, Keith (Barb) Martin, and Delphine (Derrick) Burkhart. Lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grand- children. Dear brother of Urias (Melinda) Martin, Lovina Brubacher, Ellen (Simeon) Martin, Annie (Harvey) Martin, Lena Martin, Clarence (Erla) Martin, Mahlon (Erma) Martin, and brother-in-law of Elizabeth (Abner) Weber, Edith (Roy) Martin, Becky (Eugene) Bender, and Stuart (Ruth Ann) Steckle. Predeceased by his first wife Elmeda (Sittler), second wife Eileen (Frey), parents Clarence and Magdelena (Brubacher) Martin, and brother-in-law Israel Brubacher. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Rd., Floradale, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. Interment will be held in Floradale Mennonite Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the church at 2 p.m. In Amsey's memory, donations to Floradale Mennonite Church or Elmira District Community Living would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
