    • A bright young life was brought to an early close by the death on Wednesday evening, last, of Ruby May, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Schwartz. Deceased was taken ill about seven weeks ago with appendicitis, for which she underwent an operation. Apparently she had recovered fairly well, when a second operation became necessary, a few days after which she began to fail and sank steadily until death relieved her of all earthly ills and pains on Wednesday evening. She had reached the age of 11 years, 7 months and 9 days.

      She was of a bright and cheerful disposition and will be sorely missed by her many young friends, as well as by her bereaved parents and her brother and sisters, who have the heart-felt sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their bereavement.

      The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon and was largely attended by relatives and friends from far and near.

      After the service held in the Methodist Church burial took place at the M. B. C. Cemetery here. Rev. P. Webster, Pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated. Among those … [image cut off]
