    • FREY, David M. -- On Sunday at K-W Hospital, aged 74 years, of 11 Weigel Ave., Elmira, David M. Frey. Beloved husband of Lena Snider; dear father of Leonard of Elora, Vernon Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Martin and Murray, all of RR 2, Alma, Lila Westlake of Elmira, Ken of Chilliwack, B. C. and Mrs. Lorne (Carol) Brubacher of Waterloo; step-father of Murray Snider of Nairobi, Kenya, Stewart Snider of Waterloo, Clare Snider of Elmira and Mrs. Maynard (Sharon) Snyder of Kitchener. Twenty-eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters also survive. Mr. Frey was predeceased by his first wife Almeda Martin and two brothers. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira after 7 p.m. today until Wednesday at noon, when removal will be made to the Elmira Mennonite Church for funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment Elmira Mennonite Cemetery.

      Frey, David, son of Menno and Leah (Martin) Frey, was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., Jan. 4, 1908; died of cancer at Kitchener, Ont., Feb. 7, 1982; aged 74 y. On Jan. 22, 1932, he was married to Almeda Martin, who died on Jan. 1, 1972. On Oct. 27, 1973, he was married to Lena Horst Snider, who survives. Also surviving are 7 children (Leonard, Vernon, Lila Westlake, Marie Martin, Murray, Ken, and Carol Brubacher), 4 stepchildren (Murray, Stewart and Clare Snider and Sharon Snyder), 28 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. He was a member of the Elmira Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Feb. 10, in charge of Ray Brubacher and Gary Knarr; interment in the church cemetery.
