- KATZENMEIER, Earl (Katzy) Jr.
Died suddenly, at his home, New Hamburg, in his 74th year. Residing in New Hamburg most of his life, he was a son of the late Annabelle Sinclair and Earl Katzenmeier Sr. He was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg and had retired from the Bureau of Statistics. Prior to this he taught school for some years. He had also driven for Airways Transit and enjoyed being a volunteer driver for Raise Home Support, Kitchener and also for many friends and family members. Earl was also a member of the New Dominion No. 205 AF & AM Lodge, New Hamburg. Lovingly remembered by a brother-in-law, Charles Rosenthal of Florida; cousins, Ruth Luckhart of New Hamburg, Rex and Marj Luckhart of Chesley, Terry and Gary Pfaff of Millgrove, Ellen (Gaye) Dahl of Kitchener, Cathy and Dale Winhold of Stratford, Laura Templin of Toronto and their families. Also remembered by Mary Pierce and Ella Lochrie of Kitchener and many friends. He was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice (Petty) Katzenmeier and Norma Rosenthal and one brother, Johnny Sinclair. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Transfer will be made on Saturday, Oct. 28, 1995 at noon to Zion United Church for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robert Thaler officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
