Omand Funeral Home New Hamburg until retiring in 1977 to Mount Hope St., Kitchener. A member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg; past grand master and district deputy of the Wilmot Masonic Lodge No. 318 AF and AM; affiliate member of the New Dominion Lodge No. 318, New Hamburg; member of the Guelph chapter Rose Croix 32nd Degree Mason Moore Sovereign Consistory; Kitchener Chapter 117 Royal Arch Masons; the Waterloo Shrine Club Mocha Temple; the Royal Order of Jesters Court No. 56, London Ont. Past-president of the Central Ontario Funeral Directors Association; a member of the Canadian Legion, Branch 532, New Hamburg. Served overseas during the Second World War with 10th General Hospital Medical Corps. Transfer will be made to Zion United Church, New Hamburg for visitation 11 a.m. on Saturday until service time at 2 p.m., Rev. Charles Rennie officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Burn Centre of the Shriners' Hospital would be appreciated.
