    • DEVITT, E. Bruce - Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, January 14, 2001, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Earle Bruce Devitt, age 92 years.

      Bruce was a member of Trinity United Church and the Mr. and Mrs. Club of the Church and a visiting elder. He had been employed with B.F. Goodrich for 40 years, retiring in 1974 and then joined Olsen Realty where he worked for 10 years. He was a past president of B.F. Goodrich 20 Year Club, the K-W Little Theatre, Western Ontario Drama League, past director of the Dominion Drama Festival and was a member of the Retired Business And Professional Men's Club and a Rockway Senior Citizen and the Marmel Club.

      Loving husband of the former Grace Wendt (Kraatz); step-father to Gregory Kraatz and his wife Linda of Ancaster, Paul and his wife Barbara of Forest, David and his wife Sandra of Edmonton, Alta., Mark and his wife Carol of Waterloo, Lynne Korobanik and her husband John of St. Albert, Alta.; brother to Armyntha Wray of Toronto; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive.

      Predeceased by his parents, Roscoe Devitt and Ethyle Kellum; his first wife, Eva Cardy; two sisters, Lenora Scott and Helen Newman.

      Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral and committal service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Robert Hyde officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery and donations to Habitat for Humanity or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be made as expressions of sympathy. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
