  IZA, Donald George Joseph - March 19, 1933 - August 24, 2006. Donald "Duck" Iza, at the age of 73 years after a courageous battle with heart disease.Husband of the late Katharina (Schwalm). Loving father of Erica (John) Suetta, Donna (Mike) Eckert, Sherry Iza, Guy (Tracy) Iza and Mitch (Yvonne) Iza. Grandfather of Steve, Nathan, Matt, Crystal, David, Amber, Ryan, Ethan and Abrum. Great-grandfather of Joshua, Katana and Tyler. Brother to Shirley, Jack and Bernice.Don lived in Bridgeport for most of his life where he was a volunteer fireman and a member of the Lions Club and the Bridgeport Rod & Gun Club. He was an employee of Burns Meats for 33 years. Don will be sadly missed by family, friends and Bailey.Special thanks to Louis and Ruth Roussel and the nurses at 5C of Grand River Hospital. The Iza family invites relatives and friends for visitation at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 621 King Street West, Kitchener today (Saturday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. Reception will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
