      On Tuesday, November 8, 1977, at his residence, Route 2, Elmira, Ivan S. Martin, in his 71st year. Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Bauman, one daughter and three sons, Willis B. Martin of Route 1, Elmira, Mrs. Melvin (Marie) Brubacher of Route 1, West Montrose, Walter B. Martin of Route 2, Elmira, and Wayne B. Martin of Route 2, Wallenstein; 19 grandchildren also survive. Brother of Mrs. Menno (Almeda) Shoemaker and Mrs. Allan (Fanny) Frey, both of Elmira. Friends called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, until Friday morning at 9 a.m., when removal was made to the home, Route 2, Elmira, for a private service at 1 p.m., thence to the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
