    • One of Hespeler's oldest citizens, at about 9 o'clock on Thursday evening, January 10, 1929, at her home on Bella St. She was in her 80th year but had not enjoyed good health for some time. She was born on the old Barrett homestead on the third concession of Puslinch Township and had resided there until moving to Hespeler. Survived by two brothers, Dr. J. K. Barrett of San Diego and Charles Barrett of Hespeler. Funeral from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church to the Roman Catholic Cemetery, with services conducted by Rev. Father J. F. Flahaven. Pallbearers: Fred Coughlin, Bernard Flynn, Wilson Robertson, Walter Holm, John McCaig and John Havey.
