- BARTH, OTTO
A 61-year-old Puslinch Township resident was killed on Friday, November 14, 1975, when he apparently walked into the path of a car on highway 401. Provincial Police said the man was walking his dog from the eastbound to the westbound lane of the highway, when he was struck by a car, just east of the Waterloo-Wellington boundary. The R. R. #2 Cambridge (Hespeler) resident was pronounced dead at the scene. Born in Poland, formerly of 7 Albert St. in Cambridge (Hespeler), Mr. Barth was a long time resident of the area. Husband of Gerda Radscheidt. Father of Ronald, Kurt and Howard, all of Cambridge. Brother of Mrs. Martha Hein and Elsie (Mrs. Rudolph Weisand), both of Cambridge. A family funeral service was held on Monday at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home at 2, with interment in New Hope Cemetery.
