    • ORGAN, Virginia Marie (nee Tyson) "Birdie"

The family sadly announces the death of a much loved and loving wife, mother and grandmother, on Monday, April 27, 2009. Virginia was happily married for 52 years to her devoted husband, Bill, who will be remembered as the pharmacist at Organ's Drug Store in downtown, Galt, now Cambridge. She is the loving mother of Elizabeth Morelli (Ron, R.I.P.) of Nanticoke, Bill (Dolores) of Waterdown, Jim (Judy) of Owen Sound, Tom (Anne-Marie) of Dunnville and David (Dianne) of New Dundee. Grandmother to Lorelei (Richard) Rollings of Regina, George (Nicole) Organ of Waterdown, Dan (Anna) Organ of Kelowna, Will Organ of Toronto, Leeann (Craig) Macintosh of Thunder Bay, Jennifer Organ of Owen Sound, Nyree (Greg) Segui of Dunnville, Amanda and Christie Doroslovac of New Dundee and predeceased by Nicole Organ of Dunnville. She is a great-grandmother to Bennett and Georgia Rollings, Arwyn and Neven Macintosh and Liam Organ. Her interests included square dancing, round dancing, bridge, euchre, curling and later in life she enjoyed reading, doing crosswords, watching the Mass on T.V. and the nightly ritual of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Virginia will always be remembered for her faith in God, her wisdom, thoughtfulness, good humour, her devotion to her family and her wonderful attitude toward life. Much gratitude is owed to the staff at St. Luke's Place, for their care and attention and Cambridge Memorial Hospital (5th floor medical). The family will receive friends at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 29, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home 8: 30 p.m., Wednesday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday, April 30, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
