Beloved husband of Mary (Duff); dear father of Elva and her husband Kenneth McDonald of Baden, Larry Stevens and his wife Mary and Donna Irvine, all of Kitchener and Wilma and her husband Tim Daly of Point Clark; grandfather of Ross and Joanne McDonald, Randy and Rosemary McDonald, Bruce and Colleen McDonald, Brenda and Baird Schearer, Nancy and Tim Berryman, Kevin McDonald, Linda and Orval Ruttan, Geoff and Jackie Stevens, Scott and Donna Stevens, Michael and Michelle Stevens, Terry and Theresa Talmage, Tammy and Dave Krigner, Tracey Talmage and her friend Morgan Hayes, Darrin Talmage and his friend Vanessa Samson, Jackie and John Gowing, David Irvine, Laura, Heather, Sean and Andrew Nolan, Jennifer Robinson, Julie Ortman and Cynthia Douglas. He is also fondly re- membered by 36 great-grandchildren; Mary's children, Lorraine and Barry Nolan of Dorchester, Linda and Keith Douglas of Richmond Hill and Jim Sauder of Breslau and his sisters-in- law, Edna Stevens, Gladys Stevens and Rita Bierman.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Greta M. Rohr; his parents, Nora and Arthur Stevens and two brothers, Lyle and Arthur Stevens.
Mr. Stevens family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 20, 2000 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Clinton Rohr officiating. In- terment in Memory Gardens.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be ap- preciated as expressions of sympathy.
Friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home following the service.
