  MARKLE, Helen Marie (Schiedel) - Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 2, 2007, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Melburn Markle (1983). Loving mother of Joy (Robert) Thomson of New Dundee, Carol (Gary) Horne of Cochenour, Larry (Athelie) of Cambridge, Donald (Michelle) of Ayr and Robert (Lorraine) of Ayr. Dear grandmother of Bradley, Kyle, Matthew (Karlie), Kailie, Jeffrey, Terry, Ashlee, Andrea, Charlotte. Dear sister of George and Edward Schiedel and sisters-in-law of Mary, Ruth, Lula and Almeda. Predeceased by her parents, Allan and Salome Schiedel; Laura; her brothers, Irvine and Vernice, daughter-in-law, Cynthia, and granddaughter, Ainslie. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Trillium United Church, 450 King Street East, Cambridge on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment in Zion Cemetery, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, Breast Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
