Notes - SMITH, Frank A. Passed away on January 4, 2018 at the age of 91. He was a beloved husband of the late Lila R. (nee Flemming) Smith ( 2004)... now Mom and Dad can be together for all Eternity. All our Love to you both...forever and always xx oo Loving father of Deborah Kehl, Patti (John) Strik, Heather (Richard) Godfrey, Luana (Ron) Zaharchuk and Lane (Charlene) Smith. He will be fondly remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Dibble and Bessie Smith and sister Myrna Graham, and his brothers Edson Smith and Arden Smith. He is fondly remembered by his brother Eldon Smith and sister Lillian Bertelli. Frank was a collector of all things. He loved to travel, with Mom as the navigator, and they enjoyed their time together with lots of adventures along the way. When they entertained at home it was BBQ time all the way with church friends, neighbors and family. Frank's family will receive relatives and friends from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10 Lorraine Avenue Kitchener, ON. The funeral will start at 1: 30 p.m. with the reception to follow. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 12 noon. A special Thank you to the staff at Forest Heights Long Term Care Home (Hewson Floor) for their compassionate care of our Dad. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
