Second Bereavement Suffered By Blenheim Family Within Short Period

The sudden death occurred in the Ontario Hospital, London, early Friday morning of Mary Elizabeth Lillico, youngest daughter of James Lillico, 10th concession of Blenheim, in her 32nd year, after a short illness. Coming so soon after the death of her sister, Mrs. Oliver Edward, in the Toronto General Hospital, on Monday, January 20th, her passing came as a distinct shock to her many friends and acquaintances, and the sympathy of the entire community is extended to the sorrowing father and brother in their double sad bereavement. Deceased was born in Blenheim Township, where she had always resided at the home of her father. She was a member of Knox United Church and took a deep interest in the various women's organizations of the congregation. Besides her father, she is survived by one brother, George, in Toronto. There was a large attendance at the funeral, which took place on Monday afternoon to Ayr Cemetery. Rev. J. W. Currie was in charge of the services, and the pallbearers were: Roy Campbell, Irvine Campbell, James Baxter, David H. Brown, Douglas Lillico, Jr., and Walter Barrie, Jr. During the service at the residence Mrs. G. A. Graham and A. L. Easton sang, "The Lord is My Shepherd." There were many beautiful floral tributes.
