- Plan Separate Rites for Shooting Victims
Separate funeral services will be conducted Monday for the three dead in yesterday's shooting at Waterloo Spring Company, Ltd.
Services for Donald Huras, 27, and Frederick Beilstein, 41, will be conducted in the afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church by Rev. Arthur Eissfeldt.
The body of Mr. Beilstein will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 11 am Monday when it will be removed to the church where friends may pay their respects until the service at 2 pm. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Same Funeral Home
The body of Mr. Huras will be at the same funeral home until Monday at 2 pm. The service will be at the church at 3:30 pm. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
Both Mr. Huras and Mr. Beilstein were members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Mr. Huras is survived by his wife, the former Norma Browne; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin D. Huras; Waterloo, three brothers, Roy and James, Kitchener; Weyburn, Waterloo; and one sister, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Mairs, Rexdale, Ont.
Mr. Beilstein is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Beilstein, Kitchener; five brothers, William, Hugo, Arthur, Robert, all of Kitchener; Richard, Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Karl Kurt, Jefferson, Ohio, and Mrs. Herbert Parker, Kitchener.
Service at 9 A.M.
The body of Frank Riem, 35, will be at the Gruhn Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 pm. Prayers will be said Monday at 8:30 am and the service will be at St. Mary's RC Church at 9 am. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Mr. Riem was born in Yugoslavia in 1920 and came to Canada in 1927. He was a member of St. Mary's RC Church.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mathies Riem, Kitchener; four brothers, Matthew and Fred, Kitchener; Martin, Los Angeles, Calif.; Anthony, Hawkesville and one sister, Mrs. Anne De Martin, Kitchener.
