  Atkinson, Ruby (nee Stahlbaum) ~ Peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Chartwell Elmira LTC Residence, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Russell Atkinson (1991). Loved mother of the late Donna Schneider (2011), Connie and Wayne Maher of Elmira, Bruce and Debbie of Monck, the late Terry (1999), and David and Brooke of Wasaga Beach. Loving grandmother of Todd (Bridget), Kimberly (Stefan), Corey; John; Brenda (Tim), Rob (Charity), Katelyn (Tyler), Gordon (Cassidy); Jennifer (Trevor), Ashley (Scott), Rebecca (Darren); Adam (Hannah), Shanelle; and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Wilma Lackner. Predeceased by her parents John and Amelia (Hass) Stahlbaum, eight brothers and three sisters. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 60 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Interment will take place in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Elmira. In Ruby's memory, donations to Chateau Gardens Auxiliary, Autism Canada or St. James Lutheran Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. A special thank you to Dr. Winfield, the nurses and staff at Chartwell for their special care and attention to Ruby and her family.
