    • WILSON YOST

      Wilson Yost , 81, formerly of Milverton, died in the Freeport Sanatorium near Kitchener, Friday, May 12 after a lengthy illness.

      He was born in Mornington Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Yost.

      He came to Milverton in 1932 and was employed at Ebersol's Farm Machinery for 18 years and the Honderich Furniture Company for six years. and retired in 1966 from the Grosch Felt Show Company.

      He was a member of Milverton United Church. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Anne Doerr in 1969.

      Surviving are sons. Harry of Milverton. Elroy of 259 Queers St., Stratford, Delford of Listowel; daughters. Mrs. Gordon (Zerine) Hammer of North Easthope Township. Mrs. William (Mildred) Gale of Sebringville, Mrs. Walton (Vera) Scheifele of Waterloo; brothers, Aaron of Milverton, Oliver of Mornington Township sisters, Miss Rebecca Yost &a Mrs. Charles (Mary) Voll, both of Milverton, Mrs. Priscilla Phair of Kitchener.

      The body rested at McMane's, 9 Pacific Ave.. Milverton. Funeral service was held at Milverton United Church Monday at 2:30, with Rev. H. E. Moorhouse officiating. Pallbearers were Ross and Len Hammer, Wilson Cook, Kenneth Yost, Paul Yost and David Yost. Flower bears were James Yost and Barry Thomas.

      Interment followed in Greenwood cemetery.
