  SHAKESPEARE - Edward Nau of Shakespeare died at his home Monday. He was 80. Born in South Easthope Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicklas Nau and had been a lifelong resident of the township. He farmed there for many years, retiring to Shakespeare in 1961. He was a member of the South Easthope United Church a former township council member, a former road superintendent, a member of the North and South Easthope Municipal Telephone Co. and a former member of the South Easthope Township school board. Surviving are his wife, the former Clara Berg, whom he married March 31, 1914, in North Easthope Township; one son, Harry, and one daughter, Mary, both at home; one brother, Frank, Stratford. He was predeceased by two brothers and six sisters. The body is at the Francis Funeral Home, Tavistock, where a service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. J.W. Siebert.
