  SNYDER, Walter Sheldon - Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Trinity Village Care Centre in Kitchener, at the age of 91. Born in Floradale, son of the late Edward Snyder and Elizabeth (nee) Schneider. Beloved husband of the late Adeline (nee) Kreuger. Loving father of Rev. Lynn, PhD. of Mount Vernon, Ind. and Grant and Sandy of Kitchener; special grandpa to Cindy. Debbie and Brenda. all of Indiana, Kelly of Kitchener and Mark of Victoria B.C. Walter is survived by one sister, Myrtle Kreuger of Kitchener and two sisters-in-law, Mildred Snyder of Kitchener and Roberta Snyder of Elmira. Walter was predeceased by brothers, Lloyd, George and Howard and sisters. Viola Mohr. Nellie Shoemaker. Vera Mohr and Erla Shantz. Walter was a lifetime member at Calvary Memorial United Church and the Victory Class. Walter farmed near Mannheim for 25 years and worked at Canadian Blower and Forge (Howden Fan) for 20 years, retiring in 1973. Walter enjoyed his retirement travelling around the world. Visitation will be held at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, April 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and preceding the service of celebration of his life at Calvary Memorial United Church, (at the corner of Park St. and Glasgow St.) Kitchener, on Monday, April 17; 2000 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
