      January 11, 1924 - December 1, 2018


      Lloyd passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Hanover Village LTC, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the age of 94.

      Beloved husband of Ida (nee Shantz) for 64 years. Loving father of Gail Veitch (Elvin Martin). Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of Graham (Lindsay) and their children Bryson and Sloane, Bryan (Holly) and their children Zac and Raya, and Katie (Chris) Armstrong and their son Sam. Will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Jean Swartzentruber, Helen Shantz and Marie Shantz.

      Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Barbara (nee Jantzi) Schwartzentruber; brother of Lester (Erma), Ray, Omar (Ada), Glen as a child and Edith (Mel) Erb. Brother-in-law of Howard (Hilda), Wilfred (Selda), Armand (Irene), Nyal (Helen), Etta (Lloyd) Shantz, Robert (Lena), Mahlon, Ion, Arley (Mabel), and Esther (Aaron) Enns.

      Lloyd was a longtime member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, Kitchener.

      Friends are invited to celebrate Lloyd's life and share memories with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday, December 7, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

      A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room.
