  • Notes 
    • Melvin Allgeier of 84 John Blvd., Waterloo, died Sunday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 67. Born in Woolwich Township Jan. 29, 1902, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Allgeier. He was a member of Calvary United Church where he was a lay leader. He was employed at London Life Insurance Co. for 25 years until illness forced him to retire in 1965. Before that he was employed at Silverwood Dairies Ltd. He lived in the Twin Cities four years. Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie Mae Dressler whom he married in Kitchener in 1931, a daughter, Mrs. Abram (Betty) Heinrich, Englewood, Colo., two sisters, Mrs. M.E. (Helen) Snyder of Waterloo and Vera of Elmira; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body rested at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home after noon Tuesday until noon Wednesday when removal was made to Calvary United Church Rev. Dr. J.V. Dahms conducted a service at the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
