- Albert Ableson
Albert Preston Ableson of Plattsville, a garage and service station operator for 20 years in the nearby village of Washington before retiring last year died Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, following a lengthy illness. He was 48.
A native of Galt, Mr. Ableson moved to Plattsville in the spring of last year. He was a member of Branch 50, Royal Canadian legion. His wife is the former Betty Irene Cornell.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Allan (Patricia) Bell of Galt; one brother, Gordon of Thunder Bay; one sister, Mrs. Lionel (Margaret) Clark of London, Ont., and two grandsons.
Funeral service was conducted Saturday at the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville, Rev. Donald Pugh of Plattsville Missionary Church officiating.
Temporary entombment took place in the Chesterfield mausoleum
