  YOUNG LIFE QUICKLY CLOSED YOUNG DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. AUGUST PFAFF DIES SUDDENLY There passed away last Thursday evening Helen Amelia, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Pfaff at the early age of 10 years. The little girl had had an attack of rheumatism some weeks before and this finally settled in her heart. Never a very robust girl she was left very weak. but the doctor expressed good hopes of her recovery even a few hours before she died. But a sudden heart spell ended her short life to the great grief of her parents, brother and sister, who have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sad bereavement. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon. Rev. A. Gallmeier preached the funeral sermon to a large audience. Interment took place in Elmira Union Cemetery.
