- Archie W. Letson of 53 Margaret Ave. S., Waterloo, died Aug. 13 at the K-W Hospital after a brief illness. He was 65. Born Dec. 6, 1901, in West Montrose, he was a son of Mrs. Byron Letson and the late Mr. Letson and lived in the Twin Cities for 22 years. Mr. Letson was employed at the B. F. Goodrich Canada Ltd. for 25 years, retiring in January of this year. He was a member of the International Gospel Centre. Surviving besides his mother are his wife, the former Olive Umbach whom he married in 1924 in Elmira; two sons, Gerald, Toronto, and Floyd, Honolulu, Hawaii; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Ala) Miller, Kitchener, and Mrs. John (Diane) Campbell, Waterloo; two brothers, Walter, West Montrose, and Ivan, Elmira, and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, Norman. The body was at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where a service was conducted today by Rev. D. J. Emmerson of the International Gospel Centre. Burial was in Memory Gardens.
