Sister-in-law to Grace (Howard) Dietrich, Leonard (Sharon) Koebel, Marlene (Tom) Curtis, Edward (Iva) Koebel, Bernard (Judy) Koebel, Paul (Jody) Koebel and Roy (Patricia) Koebel. Joan will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Joan was a devout member of the St. Clements RC Church and a member of the Christian Mothers Society. She was a proud grandma who spent countless hours capturing memories for her grandchildren in scrapbooks that she created for each of them. She enjoyed gardening and particularly prized her beautiful gardens at the cottage.
A special thank you to Care Partners Nursing for their support to enable Joan to spend Christmas at home with her family.
At Joan's Request her family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 to 10:45 AM on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at St. Clements R.C. Church, St. Clements followed by Funeral Mass at 11 AM.
Interment St. Clements Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Clements Parish Building Fund or Save a Family Plan would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the Church or by calling Henry Walser Funeral Home 519-749-8467).
