- Mrs. Lydia Torrey Dies Unexpectedly at Lake Ki
Mrs. Lydia Torrey passed away Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. S. Blair. Mrs. Torrey was ill only a short time, and death came unexpectedly. The funeral was held at the family residence at Lake Ki Monday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Mr. Nicholls of Warm Beach conducted the funeral services and Mr. John Notley Nicholls sang a solo, "The Ninety and Nine. "
While Mrs. Torrey and her family had only recently come to live in the neighborhood, the many beautiful floral offerings bore mute testimony to the high esteem in which she was held. Burial was in the cemetery at East Stanwood.
