I, William F. Johnson, of the Township of Woolwich, Yeoman, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament… 1st I give and bequeath to my daughters Matilda, Anna Maria, Lavinia, Corinthie and "Emma Angelina, the sum of one hundred pounds each to be paid to each of them as they severally attain the age of twenty one years, but in the meantime my wife Sarah shall receive the interest of said legacies for the purpose of supporting and educating said daughters which interest shall be paid annually. 2nd I give and bequeath to my son William Johnson, the younger, the sum of one hundred pounds which shall be paid within one year after my decease, if required by said legatee. 3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah, all the household furniture she may choose, need or require, and the remainder of my furniture to be sold along with the residue of my property as hereinafter directed. 4th I further direct that the whole of my property consisting of lots number eighty one and seventy eight, of the German Company Tract, containing in all one hundred and sixty one acres, more or less, situate in Woolwich, together with all the stock, agricultural implements and household furniture, (not already devised) be sold, and all the money arising from such sale shall be equally divided amongst my wife and my sons Samuel, William, David, George, Edwin and James Lorenzo, share and share alike. The aforesaid sale to be within twelve months after my deceased, and I further direct and order that the portion or shares of said money falling to my wife Sarah, and my sons Samuel and William, be paid within twelve months after my decease and the interest of all moneys falling to each of my sons as are under the age of twenty one years shall be paid annually to my wife Sarah, for their education and support until they respectively are of the age of twenty one years when each shall receive his portion. Lastly, I order and direct that one acre of land be reserved on the north west corner of the aforesaid lot number eighty one, having a frontage to the road leaving from Elmira to Winterbourne, if not less than one hundred and thirty three feet, said reserve to be for the sole use and benefit of my wife, and family during her life, afterwards to be sold and the proceeds equally divided amongst my family, with the exception of my sons Samuel and William, who shall not receive any benefit from said sale. I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife Sarah Johnson, Executrix, and my son Samuel Johnson, and my friend Joseph Fear of the Township of Woolwich Yeomen, Executors of this my Last Will and Testament…
