Notes - KRESS, June Ann (nee Hoffman) - Passed away in the presence of her family, on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Bruce Kress for 58 years. Devoted mother of Randy (Beth Ann) of New Hamburg, Linda Kress (Jim Paul) of Wilmot Centre, Tim (Aleda) of Thompson, Manitoba, Dan (Irene Stuiver) of St. Catharines, Elizabeth Reuber (Mark) of Cargill and Rebecca Kress-Ives (Doug Ives) of Orono. Grandma to 13 grandchildren. Loving sister of Virginia Weiler of Baden. June will be remembered by her sisters-in-law, Bette Hoffman and Reta Hoffman. Predeceased by grandson, Matthew Ryan Kress; her parents, George and Emeline (nee Meisel) Hoffman and brothers, Robert and Carl Hoffman. June's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 1-1: 45 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will also take place at Nithview Community, 200 Boullee St., New Hamburg from 9: 30-11: 30 a.m. on Thursday. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Lloyd Oakey and Rev. Ken Jacob officiating. Interment Wilmot Centre Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff of Brucelea Haven in Walkerton, Nithview Community L.T.C., in New Hamburg and the St. Mary's General Hospital 5th floor staff for the loving care they gave June and her family.
