    • PETZNICK, William Harold - On Sunday, May 10, 1987, at Englehart and District Hospital, William Petznick, aged 80, of RR 1, Charlton and formerly of Baden. Son of the late Gustave Petznick and the former Elizabeth Jahnke. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Baden and had owned Petznick Motors in Baden from 1944 until 1975. He had been a member of the former Baden Council and was a past president and life member of the Wilmot Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed fishing during his retirement years. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude Jonas, who predeceased him in 1977. Dear father of Ronald and his wife Geraldine of London, Ont., Dennys and his wife Marg of Dorchester, Terry and his wife Carol of RR 1, Charlton, loving grandfather of Debi, Kim, Scott, Kathy, Cory and Chris and great-grandfather of Courtney, Jason, and Faith. Fondly remembered by two brothers, Arnold and his wife Nora, Albert and his wife Frances, three sisters, Irene (Mrs. Wilfred Schultz), Edna (Mrs. Clarence Brumm), Evelyn (Mrs. Cliff Risto) and two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Elsie Petznick and Mrs. Esther Petznick, all of Pembroke. He was predeceased by three brothers, Rudolph, Charlie, George, and two sisters, Alma and Lydia. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 pm this evening and until Wednesday at noon, when transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Baden, for service at 2 pm with Rev. D. Kranz officiating. Interment to follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Baden.

      William Harold Petznick, 80, of RR 1 Charlton, formerly of Baden, died Sunday at the Englehart and District Hospital.

      Born Jan. 13, 1907 in Pembroke, he was the son of the late Gustave Petznick and Elizabeth Jahnke. He was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church, Baden and owned Petznick's Motors in Baden from 1944 to 1975. He was also a past president and life member of the Wilmot Rod and Gun Club and had been a member of Baden Council.

      He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude Jonas in 1977 and three brothers and two sisters.

      Surviving are three sons Ronald and his wife Geraldine, of London, Dennys and his wife Marg, of Dorchester and Terry and his wife Carol, of RR 1 Charlton, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

      Also surviving are two brothers Arnold and his wife Nora, of Pembroke and Albert and his wife Frances, of Pembroke, three sisters Irene, Mrs. Wilfred Schultz, Edna, Mrs. Clarence Brumm and Evelyn, Mrs. Cliff Risto, all of Pembroke and two sisters-in-law.

      Friends will be received today after 7 p.m, at the Mark Jutzi funeral home at 291 Huron St., New Hamburg. At noon on Wednesday a transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church in Baden for funeral services at 2 p.m. with Rev. D. Kranz officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery, Baden.

      Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. James Lutheran Church will be received as expressions of sympathy.
