- MACKIE, Jessie Elizabeth - Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, November 27, 2008, a lifelong resident of Ayr, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife to the late Charles Mackie (1998). Loved mother to Catherine Moore (Brock) RR14 of Cambridge and Margaret McNeil (Alastair) of Ayr. Cherished grandmother to Nicholas. Dear sister to Murray McRae (Dorothy) of Ilberton and sister-in-law to Kay McRae of Ayr. Special companion to Bob Little. Predeceased by her brother, Ian McRae and two brothers in infancy. Jessie Was a lifelong member of Knox United Church, Ayr, a member of the Seniors Timeout, a dedicated member of the Horticultural Society Ayr and Dumfries Blenheim Farm Women's Club. Friends call at the Ayr May CHAPEL WM. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr, on Sunday, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Funeral services will be Held at Knox United Church in Ayr (92 Northumberland St.) on Monday, at 1 pm with Rev. Fred Hagle officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Knox United Church Building Fund, or the charity of your choice Would Be appreciated.
