  Mrs. Murdo McRae Passes Funeral service for the late Mrs. Murdo McRae, who passed away Friday night at her home, South Dumfries, was held at the Cumming Funeral Home, Paris, on Monday. Rev. R. D. Thompson of Knox United Church, Ayr, officiated and interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The pallbearers were: John T. Kennedy, Robert Perry, Kingsburgh Kyle, George Stockton, John A. Kennedy and Andrew Stockton. The late Mrs. McRae, whose maiden name was Marion Agnes Guthrie, was born on the 9th concession of Blenheim, a daughter of the late Robert Guthrie and Jane Manson. She was the last surviving member of her generation. A valued member of Knox United Church, she devoted much time to work in the Kate M. Thomson, WMS. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Jean, at home; Mrs. George Edgar (Mary), Ayr, and Mrs. Douglas Perry (Florence), South Dumfries, and seven grand-children.
