  SCHMUCK, Marie Violet Called home by our Father on Friday, December 4, 2009, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 94th year. Dear sister of Father Harry Schmuck of Cambridge who regarded her as a "Spitfire". Loving aunt of four nieces and two nephews. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Helen Schmuck, sisters Helen, Marm, Gladys, Toby and Rita Benham and brothers Edgar, Fred, Karl and Frank. Miss Schmuck was born in Preston and lived here her entire life. She was an avid card player and had many friends in the Fairview Home community. She was a retiree of Debbie Industries (1976) after 33 years of employment. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Monday December 7, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery in Cambridge. Parish prayers will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
