    • AGED RESIDENT PASSES AWAY

      Mrs. Hannah Alderson Succumbs After Extended Illness Death removed an aged resident of the city on Sunday evening in the person of Mrs. Hannah Alderson, at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. A. Foster, 278 Frederick street. Mrs. Alderson had been ill for the past six months. She had suffered from dropsy and during the last few days, her condition became worse and death was not unexpected. She past peacefully away, after 9.30 o'clock. Mrs. Alderson was in her 88th year, having been born in England in 1826. She had made her home in Berlin, for the past 29 years and was highly respected by a large circle of friends, who will learn with regret of her death. She had been twice married. Her second husband predeceased her, 37 years ago. Two daughters are the surviving members ofthe family, Mrs. A. Foster and Mrs. Louisa Harwood ofClaremont. There are no brothers or sisters. The funeral will be held nn Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock,from the late residence to Mount Hope cemetery. The obsequies will be conducted by Rev. C. L. Mclrvine, pastor of Trinity Methodist church of which the deceased had been a devoted member.
