Notes |
- SHERRICK, Ruth (nee Pannabecker) Ruth Irene Sherrick slipped into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in her ninety-eighth year. She was the cherished wife of Arnold Sherrick, loved stepmother of Connie Morse (Kent), doting grandmother of Lyndsey Morse and great-grandmother of Carter Morse. Ruth was the last surviving offspring of her late parents, Oliver and Susan Pannabecker (Shank). She was also predeceased by her first husband Lloyd Brubacher. She found great joy in fulfilling a very meaningful role in the lives of her many nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by them. Ruth was employed as the secretary to the CEO of the Rumpel Felt Company and also served as a bookkeeper there, until she was seventy years of age. Throughout her long life, she cultivated many close friendships and lived out her Christian faith in service to God as a faithful member of Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church, where she taught Sunday School and played the piano and organ for thirty years. We praise God for the span of time that He allowed her to grace this earth. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 8th, at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church, 160 Lancaster St. E., Kitchener. Prior to the service, friends and relatives are invited to greet the family in the Bethany Room of the church, between 1:00 and 2:00 P.M. Arrangements are entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home (519)749-8467. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Women's Ministries of Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church (cards available at the funeral home). Please visit www.henrywalser.com to view Ruth's memorial.
