  WITMER, Leonard - Passed away peacefully, Monday, November 26, 2007, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in his 93rd year. Loving husband of the late Mina (nee Brown) Witmer (1999). Loving father of Doug Witmer and his wife Jean of Waterloo and Sandra Welfred and her husband Bernie of Arva. Cherished grandfather of Jeff Witmer (Annemarie), Julie Browne (Jonathan), Tricia Lutz (Goeff), Mark Welfred (Lisa) and Kerri Van de Peer (Todd). Great-grandfather to Jacob, Abigail, Liam, Ty, Thatcher, Adelaide, Kate, Ethan, Nikki, and Riley. Dear brother of Vi Manske (Irv), Barbara Cook (Wally) and Cliff Witmer (Doris). Predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. Leonard was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo. Leonard's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2007 at First Baptist Church (306 Erb Street West, Waterloo) followed by a reception at the church. Pastor Bob Snell officiating.
