  William John Geier June 7, 1920 - November 23, 2011 Passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Place, Cambridge, Ontario on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at age 91. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Runstedler). Loving father of Marilyn and Ted Barker, Paul and Jo-Anne Geier, Ruth and Alfred Fach, Colleen and Dave Cooper, Mark and Audrey Geier. Dearly loved Grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Eileen Hnatejko and son-in-law Tim Cross. Predeceased by his parents George and Emma Geier, daughter Jean Cross and granddaughter Melissa Fach, sister Marie Schmidt, brothers Father Edgar Geier, Clayton Geier and Victor Geier. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519-653-3251) on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge N3H 3T7 on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10am. Private interment at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario. A special thank you to St. Luke's Place Palliative Care Team for their care and kindness. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Food for Children would be appreciated by the family. Prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday, evening at 8: 30pm.
