  DARGEL, Carl - On Thursday, March 6, 1980, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph; Carl Dargel, age 84, of 17 Morris St., Guelph, formerly of Waterloo. Mr. Dargel was employed at Dare Foods Limited in Kitchener for 50 years, retiring 19 years ago. He was the trainer for the Waterloo Tigers baseball team during the 1930's and 1940's. He was the father of Ruth (Mrs. William Collins) of Kitchener, brother of Fritz of Kitchener, Julius of Kitchener, and Gustav of Ayr. Also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Ralph. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after noon on Friday. Funeral and committal service will be held in the funeral home chapel, Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in Woodland cemetery, Kitchener, Rev. Carl Wagner of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.
