At St. Mary's Hospital on Monday. January 17. 1977. after a brief illness. Alexander Leo Zettler of Woolwich Street. Breslau. aged 61 years.
A member of St. Boniface Church. Maryhill. Had been employed at XDG Construction: had served as a corporal overseas in the Second World War in the Canadian Army.
Husband of the former Pauline Dahmer. step-father of Larry Dahmer of Waterloo. Mrs Joseph (Sally) Scherrer of Conestogo. Mrs. Janice Beam of Breslau, brother of Tony and Mrs. Albin (Clara) Spitzig of Walkerton. Andrew and Mrs. Jerome (Mary) Heintzman of Kitchener, It grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Predeceased by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home 621 King SL W., Kitchener, where parish prayers were recited on Wednesday. at 8:30 p.m. Prayers were said at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:16 a.m. followed by funeral mass at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
