Notes - FISHER, Margaret Martin Goshen, Indiana, 61, slipped away peacefully Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital, after receiving a cancer diagnosis in November. She was born October 11, 1952 in St. Jacobs, Ontario, to Philip S. and Leah Rudy Martin. On May 17, 1975, she married James E. Fisher in Winston-Salem, N.C. He survives along with two children, Melissa (David Fast) Fisher Fast, Elkhart, Indiana, and Matthew (Hannah Gustafson) Fisher, Vancouver, B.C.; two grandchildren, Micah and Annelise Fast; eight siblings, Alvin (Ruth) Martin, Dutton, Ontario, Aaron (Loretta) Martin, Elmira, Ontario, Naomi (Nevelle) De'Rozario, Kitchener, Ontario, Armand (Ginny) Martin, Goshen, Vera (Elmer) Martin, Bowmanville, Ontario, Elma (Tim) Freed, London, Ontario, Nora (Steve McInnis) Martin, Woodstock, Ontario, and Herb (Wanda) Martin, St. Jacobs, Ontario; a sister-in-law, Lynne Martin, Winnipeg, Manitoba; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Omar Martin. Friends may call 3 to 5 p.m. and 6: 30 to 8: 30 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen. An 11: 00 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Saturday at Waterford Mennonite Church. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
