    • MRS. MARY SCHMITT

      The death of Mrs. Mary Schmitt, 51 Wilhelm St, occurred at noon yesterday at the K-W Hospital. She was 85 years old. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Oestreicher, she was born on May 13, 1800, at Crediton. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church.

      Surviving are one son, J. Albert Smith of Kitchener and five step- sons, C. A. E. Schmitt of Detroit, Mich, E. W. Smith of Brockville, A. P. Schmitt of Howell, Mich., S. O. Smith of Winnipeg, Man, and M. H. Schmitt of Kitchener; one step daughter, Mrs. Herman E. Strobel of Howell, Mich; two brothers, Her- Man Oestreicher of Toronto and Daniel Oestreicher of Crediton; and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Kuhn of Crediton. There are 12 grandchil dren and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Rey. J. A. Schmitt, died on Nov, 22, 1938.

      The funeral will be held at Zion Evangelical Church at three o'clock on Saturday with Interment in Woodland Cemetery,
