  HORST, David - Peacefully, on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at Squamish, B.C., while on vacation. David Horst, aged 80 years, of Waterloo.Beloved husband of Rebecca (Shantz) Horst for 59 years. Loving father of Willis and Adele (Anderson) Horst of Brackendale, B.C., Willard and Annette Horst of Waterloo. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Rachel and Jared, Michelle (Ryan) and Julie. David was a faithful member of the Hawkesville Mennonite Church.Predeceased by his parents, Mose and Mary (Cressman) Horst; one brother and three sisters.The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Saturday, February 19, 2005, transfer will be made to the Hawkesville Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Perry Bartel officiating, followed by interment in the Hawkesville Cemetery.In his memory, donations to Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
