  SHANTZ, Joyce Diane Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 11, 2017. Joyce was born 68 years ago, a daughter of the late Wilfred Shantz and former Selda Snyder. Joyce had lived at Doon Valley Manor, Kitchener for the past 27 years. She is the loving sister and sister-in-law of Tim and Betty Shantz of St. Agatha and Dwight and Sherry Shantz of Waterloo. She was a loving aunt to Trevor and Stephanie and their children Jared and Avery; Kelly and Shawn and their children Nathan and Hailey; Brittany and Jason and their children Claire and Jake; Chase; and Jaide. Joyce enjoyed music, especially the piano and accordion as well as a good game of cards (Solo). She also enjoyed watching old movies. She attended Achievement in Motion and was a member of the Waterloo Region Self Help. Visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday (today) from 6-9 p.m. A private family interment will be held at Shantz Mennonite Cemetery, prior to the funeral service at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. The Waterloo Record, 13 Dec. 2017
