Brown City \emdash Funeral services for James U. Clemens, 90, resident of this vicinity some 74 years, were held at 2:30 p. m. Monday in the local Evangelical U. B. church. Rev. Murray Willard, Sebewaing, officiated, Burial was in Imlay township cemetery.
Mr. Clemens was born in Kitchener, Ont., Aug. 6th, 1861. He and Miss Dora Schaffer were married in 1885. Mrs. Clemens died in 1927.
Surviving are four sons. Ervin Clemens, Pontiac, Harry Clemens, San Antonio, Texas; Otto Clemens. lapeer, and Roy Clemens, Davison; two daughters, Mrs. Eria Geno, Imlay City and Mrs. Effie Howton, Rochester; ten grand-children and 15 great grandchildren.
