    • William Ziegler

      Following a brief illness William Ziegler, 76, of 170 Waterloo St., died at the K-W Hospital yesterday. The son of the late Jacob Ziegler and Caroline Engel, he was born at Grey County, March 11, 1874, and came to Kitchener 45 years ago. He was a painter by trade. Mr. Ziegler attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church. His marriage to the former Ida Louise Mueller, who predeceased him Jan. 13, 1948, took place in Kitchener, Aug. 8, 1906. Surviving are three sons, Walter, Waterloo; Harry and Leslie, Milverton; one daughter, Almeta, Kitchener; three brothers, John, Akron, Ohio; Henry, Kitchener and Oscar, Ypsilanti, Mich., and three sisters, Mrs. Caroline MacMillan, Hamilton; Mrs. Ira Fowler, Elora, and Mrs. Ted Kraemer, Toronto. Four grandchildren also survive. One son John, died in 1940. The body is resting at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home where the service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be made in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. Paul Eydt will officiate.
