    • HOOVER, Anson - Passed away on Monday October 13, 2008 at Stratford General Hospital. Anson resided at RR 1, Shakespeare. He was born June 11, 1920 in Waterloo County and was the son of the late Menno and Leah (Martin) Hoover. Beloved husband of Sarah (Martin) Hoover whom he married February 29, 1944. Loving father of Cleason and Selinda Hoover of Aylmer, David and Minerva Hoover, Nancy and Menno Brubacher, all of Wroxeter, Velina and John Showalter of Green Castle, PA, Susie and Gerry Wager of Shakespeare, Peterand Susan Hoover of Rocky Cape, Tasmania. Sadly missed by his 55 grandchildren and 114 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by his brothers Norman and Catherine Hoover, Tilman and Mary Ann Hoover; sisters Edna Martin, Rebecca and Dan Bauman and Sarah and Daniel Martin. Anson was predeceased by brothers Abraham, Martin, Amos and sisters Mary, Saloma and Veronica. Anson was a member of Corinth Conservative Mennonite Church, Aylmer District. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton tonight (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Milverton Recreation Complex, Milverton with Aden Martin and Dannie Gascho officiating. Interment to follow in Bethel Conservative Mennonite Cemetery, Millbank.
